Band and Chorus Concert
![]() |
The Spring Band and Chorus Concert was last night for those who didn’t know. It was the 6th grade band first then the clarinet trio, then the chorus which I was in. It was a great night!!! First we sang Lean On Me then Jenny, Nikki, Tracey, and Lianne sang Dear Maria. They were the first group to perform. Then the 7th grader’s group went and they sang If Everyone Cared. They were Toni, Sydeny, and a ginger (I don’t know her name). Then the entire chorus sang the Middle. Then my group-Kassy, Alex, and me sang Seasons of Love. Everyone had a solo. Kassy had a really hard solo that most people can’t do but she totally nailed it. Then I had my solo and I guess it went well because everyone said I did really well and kept asking me to do it again. I’m so proud of Alex and Kassy, they were really great and fantabouslous friends. I couldn’t have asked them to do better. Then Elise and Hayden went. They were the last group and did really well. They sang the Way I Am. The whole chorus then sang Sorry and it went really well. Then we all left the stage and I went to the 7th and 8th grade band. I I play the saxophone. We played Monolith, Nocturne for Winds, Earth, Wind, and Fire in Concert, and lastly we played Bugs. What was most embarresing about that night was right before chorus went on we waited in the chorus room. I made a special announcement and the i started crying. I never cry!!! I hate people who do cry and I hate when I cry. So that completly sucked. But yeah other than that it was a fabulous night. Everyone did really well. And if you could read Alana’s post about the concert. It was really awesome and she was really sweet about what she said. My friends are awesome!!!
